Another chance to be taught by Jenny Thomas
After the fantastic success of our January and July weekenders in 2019 with Jenny Thomas, we have persuaded her to do it all again! Well, the same fun but with different moves!
Come and join us for a weekend of swing tuition with the fantastic, funny and famous Jenny Thomas from the UK!
Rob Farley of All About Swing will be partnering with Jenny to help improve your Lindy Hop dancing.
The two days will build upon each other as there will only be one open level format for everyone. All we ask is that students need to be able to cope with 6 and 8 counts and to feel at ease when being given new material. Sometimes, it’s not about level, but what we put in to get out.
Additionally, there will be a social dance on Saturday evening with a mix of fabulous DJs playing all your favourite tunes that you love to dance to. If you are booking the weekender then the social dance is included in your ticket price but if you can only come along to the dance, then note the date, as some tickets will be released shortly before the weekender.
Here is some more info about Jenny who won her first dance competition at the age of four and (in case you don’t already know about her!), discovered Lindy Hop back in 1992. She has travelled the world teaching and encouraging countless people to enjoy dance as she does. She has performed on many of the famous stages including Buckingham Palace for the Queen!
